Black Japonica Blend
Juice & Bold
Succulent, with a roasted nutty flavor and exotic sweet spiciness. Retaining the nutrient-dense bran layer makes Black Japonica™ rice a whole grain food and a good source of fiber per serving.

- In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups water and 1 cup rice to boil.
- Cover with a tight-fitting lid. Reduce heat to maintain a low simmer, and cook for 40 minutes.
- Remove from heat (keep covered) and steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.
If rice is too firm at the end of cooking, it may be necessary to add 1-2 Tbsp. liquid and cook longer.
Rice cooker instructions: To prepare in a rice cooker, use the same liquid to rice ratio.
We recommend refrigeration for extended shelf life.
