Expiration Date:Expiration Date
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.

Nature Unleashed. The same old, same old has never our style. At Made In Nature, that means kicking refined sugar to the curb and going all-out organic in everything we do.
Yes, we fruit punned. Because when the goods are as good as our deliciously plump Organic Raisins, the fun comes naturally.
These puckered little pieces of nature's candy start as juicy green grapes that are handpicked and sundried till they're juicy, sweet and anything but boring. All the more raisin to love them (sorry again). See, when you snack with Made in Nature, really great taste and tasteful entertainment are always included.
Organic seedless raisins, organic sunflower oil.
Manufactured on equipment that also processes coconut.

Neither "Plump" nor "Rich"

I am unclear why this company calls these raisins "plump & rich." They are neither. While the raisins taste "clean" (i.e. "organic,"), they are in no way "plump" or "rich." They are tiny, dried and semi-hard. "Plump" raisins should be large and moist; "rich" raisins should have deep flavor that is enhanced by their "plumpness." There is not a hint of these in these raisins; none at all. The side of the box refers to the raisins as "puckered little pieces" -- that is a more accurate description. If you want them to be "plump" you are going to have to soak them for several hours in water. There is nothing you can do to make them "rich." As someone who appreciates the value of "organic" food, I do not want to criticize a company whose goal is to provide such to the public. But these are tiny little pieces of dried grapes, and that is all they are. It's great that there is "no sugar added" (why would you need to advertise that when you refer to your product as "organic dried fruit"?), and it's good that it is "unsulfured" (perhaps that what Made In Nature believes is responsible for the "rich" taste), but unless you love tiny little bits of dried grapes as a "supersnack," you will be, as I was, disappointed.
