I took this product for the very first time before I was due to leave for work and I would NOT recommend doing this as I had a HUGE Niacin Flush reaction occur all over my body! So begin with perhaps 1/4 of a tablet and do it at a time you may not have to leave the house for an hour! In saying that, hot flush left body within 40 minutes - so all good!

Rzeczywiście niacyna zażywana nagle w dużej dawce i popijana gorącymi napojami powoduje efekt "flush". Jednak stopniowe podawanie małych dawek (ja dzieliłam tabletkę na 4 i po ćwiartce 3xdziennie, stopniowo zwiększając dawkę) powoduje niewielkie zaczerwienienie skóry. Jeśli chodzi o działanie uspokajające i wywołujące senność wieczorem, to takie jest. O innych zaletach niacyny, opisanych w książce "Niacyna w leczeniu" nie mogę się wypowiedzieć, gdyż nie mam wiedzy na ten temat. Jeśli jednak jej działanie, oparte na długotrwałym regularnym zażywaniu, takie jest, to warto ją brać. Na razie biorę 300 mg dziennie podzielone na trzy dawki. W każdym razie nie zaszkodzi spróbować :)

On my 2nd bottle - works well to relax me to fall asleep - however take it within 1 hour after dinner or you will get that flush!! I have found on the odd occasion I have the flush eating a slice of bread or any carbohydrates reduces the intensity and duration of the flush - a protein snack or fruit/vegetable snack does nothing to cut the flush - I will continue to use this product

I guess it works, it gives you the flush. I understand this lowers cholesterol naturally. Not that cholesterol being high is bad, that's a myth perpetuated by main stream heath care. Google Dr. Stephanie Seneff - she has great talks on youtube all about that. Niacin is also supposed to be good for fighting depression. I don't take Niacin regularly, just thought I would see what the flush is - and take it if I ever I see the need in the future based on the interesting things I have found about it in my research.
