Expiration Date:Expiration Date
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.

Wild Salmon is a healthier choice than farmed salmon, which is often found to contain high antibiotic, PCB and dioxin levels. Rich in omega-3 fatty acids and astaxanthin, wild salmon oil has a naturally occurring ration of EPA to DHA. Wild salmon is a better environmental choice too as salmon farms pollute coastal waters. The oil is extracted from already harvested salmon, using fish parts that would otherwise be wasted, thereby conserving existing stocks. Regularly tested for chemical residue and heavy metals to ensure a safe and pure source of fish oil.
Manufactured by Natural Factors to ensure safety and potency in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) of the FDA and Health Canada.

Seems to be improving my overall mood
Seems to be improving my overall mood
I have been taking these for about 3 weeks or so and notice a general improvement in my mood. I don't seem to get as upset, and seem a bit calmer. Even when things get rough I seem to cheer up and don't get depressed like I did before I started taking these. I take 2 - 3 capsules per day and I weigh about 180 lbs. This is a good supplement for the heart and overall health from what I have read. I just happen to notice that it helps my mood. Takes a few weeks to see the effects but I think it does work!

A lot cheaper than what we have in Singapore
Great service by iHerb, yet this salmon oil has a strange taste.

Quick delivery, great service by iHerb, yet I prefer to consume these soft gels without the soft gel, a.k.a. biting on them and swallowing the oil. To be honest, the taste of the oil isn't pleasant, it's slightly off, as if not fresh. I use other fish oil capsules as well, with a fresh and neutral taste of the oil. Don't say product is not good, but I don't like the taste of the oil and asked to return the product.
Not great - for general use only

I started on this fish oil earlier this year before I began to understand more about fish oils. You need 6-8 of these to get to more therapeutic levels of DHA and EPA, to address heart arrhythmia and palpitations. Around the same time I increased the fish oil capsules from 2 a day to 6, I also increased my intake of CoQ10 from 200 to 300mg, the latter which I believe is what improved my heart. Not this particular fish oil. I have since switched from this fish oil to cod liver oil which on top of higher quantities of Omega-3s also contains Vitamins A and D., together with MK-7 for Vitamin K2 - they work synergistically. I give the same to my daughter who has bruxism and cavities to rebuild her enamel.
