Expiration Date:Expiration Date
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.

I'm very low in iron and this supplement works well. I don't feel sick after taking it even though I have very sensitive stomach. Also, it is not loaded with vitamin B12 that taken in excess can cause cancer.

I used this supplement to fix my anemia after I learned the regular Rx iron they gave me was way too harsh on my stomach. Had to take 3x of these pills to have the equivalent of one of the prescription-grade iron pills in terms of dosage. It really is in fact, gentle on your stomach. Regular iron has crippling side effects for me, this didn't. It can take up to 3 months after the last iron dose for your body to process it into circulating ferritin. After taking three of these bottles and months of blood tests I'm no longer anemic. (But barely so; I'm going to buy one last bottle just to be safe)* These things are only slightly more expensive than the Rx Iron pills but that doesn't really matter as iron supplements are still pretty inexpensive and I'm trying to recover from anemia. *Of course I bought the Protein Power Lifeplan book and read the Iron chapter... I'm a few points lower than the ferritin sweet spot they recommend and I've stopped taking multivitamins with iron in them so I don't accumulate excessive amounts of iron that'll cause massive damage if I ever get a stroke or other blockage from a blood clot.
