Expiration Date:Expiration Date
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.

This is my favorite way to make sure I'm getting enough vitamin c + water soluble antioxidants. It's in whole food form, mixes (fairly) well with water, and seems has played a great part in my reduction of free radical damage. My skin is clearer, heals faster + is more luminoous, as well.

I really like this product, most vitamin C supplements are synthetic which the body can't easily assimilate. This product is naturally sourced and is a good price. I have had less colds since I' be been taking this, not so when I was taking a synthetic supplement. So obviously my body can use this better.
It become caking after four months

Taste not bad, better finished it as soon as possible.
Good Vitamin C powder made from natural fruit --- but not as good as Madre Lab's C Powder which was discontinued.

I started buying "Alive!" because "Madre Labs" discontinued their Vitamin C powder. I stopped taking vitamin C pills over 6 years ago and switched to powder. Instead, I add Vit C powder to a morning drink of water and "Green Vibrance" powder. Vitamin C is helpful during cold season, for general immune health and also supports collagen production/repair in the body (good for anti-aging). When I forget to order my Vitamin C powder, or have not been taking it for a few days - I can feel the toll on my body, especially during colder months. I think "Alive!" is a pretty good product.... I just wish was produced from a bigger variety of fruit (I miss rosehips + camu camu berries in C powder) and I wish it were cheaper (or sold in larger batches for less cost per gram). The ingredients stated on packaging claim to be from whole fruits - so that's good. "Alive! Vitamin C Powder" has = ** Organic Acerola + Organic Amla + Organic Goji + Organic Kiwi ** Also -- I don't understand why there is "manioc root" (cassava) in Alive Vit C? Why would they add this? But "Madre Labs Vitamin C powder" had = ** Organic Acerola Berries + Wildcrafted Rose Hips + Camu Camu Berries + Plus Amla ** I am a big fan of the rose hips + camu camu berry combination. However, I still miss my Madre Labs vitamin C powder. Besides having more optimal combination of vit C sources - it was cheaper per gram. ( Note - I actually emailed Madre Labs customer support and was told they have discontinued the product - so the Madre Labs vitamin C being sold (clearance) on iHerb is the last of their stock, and probably not so fresh ?) ** Note: I wish iherb would show the *Expiration Date* of consumable products. ** *** I also wish that there was another option on the market for Vit C made from whole foods besides "Alive!" because I'm not convinced this matches the quality of Madre Labs Vitamin C I consumed for 5+ years. ***
