Whole Food Live Probiotics Digestive Health Formula

  • Nine live probiotic strains delivered in whole-food media
  • Apples and Jerusalem Artichoke Inulin provide prebiotic nourishment
  • Non-Dairy

New Chapter Probiotics with a Purpose formulas, inspired by revered cultured foods, deliver a full spectrum of live probiotics together with their organic, whole-food growth medium.

Beneficial Bacteria Every Body Needs

Probiotics are the "good" bacteria that occur naturally in the human intestinal tract. Foods traditionally cultured with probiotics, such as yogurt, have long been used to support health and vitality. Today, numerous scientific studies are investigating the substantial role of probiotics in supporting digestive system health.

The Whole-Food Difference

Probiotic All-Flora's difference is that it delivers the full benefits of culturing: live probiotics, the organic whole-food growth medium, and resulting ferment metabolites.

Digestive Support

Probiotic All-Flora delivers whole-food live probiotics (good) bacteria) and prebiotic fiber to help promote digestive system wellness.

Multiple Friendly Flora

Multiple probiotics strains, including revered Lactobacillus acidophilus, help broadly support the body's internal microbial balance for digestive tract health.

Probiotic All-Flora's microorganisms are cultured in a non-dairy, organic Soy medium, making this an excellent probiotic choice for people looking for a non-dairy option.

Prebiotic Fiber

Whole-food organic Apples and organic Jerusalem Artichoke Inulin provide prebiotic nourishment to stimulate the growth of live probiotics and enhance their effects.

Freeze-Dried for Potency

When culturing is complete, the live probiotics and rich whole-food growth medium are freeze-dried to help preserve their potency until consumed.

New Chapter Probiotic doesn't state the strength at expiry!

Posted by Reviewer2631717 on Jan 28, 2014 | Verified Purchase

An independent lab in Canada tested 15 different probiotics and determined that most of them were woefully deficient in the amount of alive probiotics: some had only 20% of what they claimed to have. After my New Chapter probiotics arrived, I noticed that it says refridgerate. I then read on iHerbs reviews that some customers get their New Chapters packed in ice, but others don't for some strange reason. Also New Chapter doesn't state the amount of alive strains upon expiry - so I don't know what I am really getting. The independent review says that this is essential - that every "reputable" company states the number of alive strains at expiry plus the name of the independent lab testing this! Most important, I have not noticed any change in our intestinal health and function yet. I'll update if this changes. Too bad that New Chapter has discontinued many of its probiotic formulas. I assume that after its takeover by Procter and Gamble, they had to restructure and keep only the most "profitable" and easy to make formulas. We tried these because they are all natural. Since New Chapter was taken over by Procter & Gamble, I am a little insecure about taking a "gamble" in consuming these. It is a little like buying Chinese bone china instead of Wedgewood. Both are made from the same ingredients, but the Wedgewood is heated for 36 hours at 2700F for about 39 hours, while the Chinese "equivalent" is heated at 600F for only 3 1/2 hours. This saves the manufacturer big money, but the cups chip easily. Wonder what ends up "chipping" in my body. Is it a "Gamble"?
