Expiration Date:Expiration Date
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.

While most of us know chia from the popular and peculiar chia pets, chia is far more than a humorous ornamental plant. Chia (salvia hispanica) is one of the best-known plant sources of healthy fatty acids, which account for almost two-thirds of chia's total fatty acid make-up. Chia seeds are also an excellent source of fiber and a good source of calcium.
NOW Real Food White Chia Seeds are a tasty treat with a mild flavor that can be eaten on their own or added to many of your favorite recipes. They're also an excellent topping for salads, yogurts, puddings, and more.
Because you are what you eat, NOW Real Food has been committed to providing delicious, healthy, natural and organic foods since 1968. We're independent, family owned, and proud of it. Keep it natural. Keep it real.
Refrigeration recommended after opening.
White chia seeds (salvia hispanica) (non-GMO).

Love, love, love this stuff!
Love, love, love this stuff!
Excellent for heavy workouts and stamina is needed. I put two teaspoons in a glass of distilled water and let it sit for fifteen minutes. The seeds soak up all the water and have the consistency of jello. Sip it all day! No flavor, mix with fruit in the morning for a smoothie, put leftover in fridge and voila! A fruit jello that is packed full of vitamins, anti oxidants, omega 3+6 etc. etc.! Amazing miracle food!
