Used to boost breast milk supply

Posted by 4690170005744404419 on Apr 20, 2017 | Verified Purchase

Used these in my lactation muffins for sale, and this works wonders. The product could hardly be tasted in the product, unlike some other brewer yeast, and the quality of the product is not compromised. Many mothers who have ordered from me could still get a decent increment ranging from 2oz-3oz each pump session.

Easy to take and versatile

I've ordered this twice already and usually take a few teaspoons each day. Mixing it with Japanese mayonnaise (and sometimes a bit of milk to smooth it out), it tastes uncannily like Japanese 'mentaiko' (spiced cod roe).

It is Brewer's Yeast

Posted by Reviewer1876239 on Sep 06, 2016 | Verified Purchase

I had been using nutritional yeast daily, but then I thought to go back to brewer's yeast like I had used for years before nutritional yeast was a thing. Now I see why I switched. Brewer's yeast, even this "reduced bitterness" type, is, frankly, bitter. This has the distinctly bitter taste of brewer's yeast, and I now can see that I see that I am spoiled by the more palatable nutritional yeast. If you are OK with the bitterness, this is a great product and good value for money.
