Inhibits Candida?

Posted by iHerb Customer on Jul 07, 2016 | Verified Purchase

I have athletes foot and possibly Candida overgrowth or mild IBS. I hoped Bromelain might clean this stuff off or at least bring some other benefit. Regrettably it makes me drowsy and I would rather live short but vigorously. When taken with food it hardens the stool and when taken between meals it is a bit harsh on my stomach. Perhaps I have no real health issue other than suicidal lust for onions, garlic and mustard. Bought 4 bottles and wasted money. Earlier I tried "All Vegetarian" digestive enzymes which didn't contribute to my well-being either but I would rather gulp another 4 bottles of those as it kept me more alert. However I do have a proof that enzymes can heal - I bought for my mother Nattokinase which reversed her age-related serious issues dramatically twice, with 2 year pause! I have been buying all this stuff here and I thank iHerb for making these experiments less painful :-)

These are pills, and not tiny

Posted by iHerb Customer on Jun 05, 2016 | Verified Purchase

I have purchased Bromelain enzymes a couple of years ago. These bromelain are by a different manufacturers. If you are one of the people who can only swallow tiny pill, make sure you break these in half. These pills are long-ish and not super smooth. So cutting them in half is what I do. Then swallow the 2 halves together.

Good product but not 'user friendly'

Posted by iHerb Customer on Apr 25, 2016 | Verified Purchase

I've recently revisited Bromelain after a break. I find it effective but really hard to swallow because of a rough surface of tablets.
