NOW Nutritional Yeast delivers the natural profile found in Genuine Whole Foods.

NOW pleasant tasting Nutritional Yeast Powder is produced from a specially selected strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. This yeast is grown on enriched purified cane and beet molasses under carefully controlled conditions. This is a primary grown yeast and is therefore NOT a brewery by-product as is brewer's yeast. This ensures freedom from Candida albicans yeast.

Great flavor, great value. It's VERY powdery, so you need to mix it in to whatever you are making, much more so than the flakes. Otherwise you'll inhale powder. But I like both textures, so I tend to alternate between flakes and powder.

    Thanks for your feedback!

The unique cheese like flavor is best tasted when mixed in with steamed or cooked vegetables.

I’ve tried both the flakes and the powder, and they are exactly the same flavor, of course, but it depends how you are using it. The flakes are a slightly better topping, texture-wise, but powder is better to mix into a sauce. I love them both!
