Expiration Date:Expiration Date
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.

Coconut oil is one of the superfood that should be taken daily! Coconut oil is one of the healthiest oil that consists of healthy saturated fats. Coconut oil is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti- viral, boosts immune system, boosts brain function (even reverse Alzheimer's disease or dementia), lower unhealthy cholesterol, has high antioxidant activity, prevent cancer, nourish the skin, help to lose weight, higher energy level (the medium chain fatty acid can be used instantly to generate energy and heat and increase metabolism), lower diabetes, lower heart disease, prevent osteoporosis and so much more. Simply too many benefits to list out! Coconut oil can be used internally or externally (skin, hair). I even apply it directly to cuts or wounds and it helps to prevent infection, aids in the healing and reduce the pain as well. Coconut oil has a high smoke point so it is good for cooking. Generally, it is better suited for cooking food that is sweet-based. It did not suit food that is salty. This brand is very shelf stable and it does not turn rancid when I store it at room temperature of 28C or 82F. I eat it raw daily (3 tablespoons) and it’s very tasty. It has a strong fresh coconut taste and smell when compared to others. I also notice that it helps to protect my sensitive teeth. You can add it raw to food to be eaten. The only issue is that once you unseal it, the coconut oil might leak easily. It can get a bit messy if you are not careful. Otherwise, enjoy the superfood! Check out my page for more reviews!

This oil is popular right now, and while I don`t think it is as beneficial as some people think, it does have many potential uses. It can be used for cooking, moisturing skin and hair, oil swishing, in the management of sweaty smell, and as a food additive to improve flavor and consistency. It becomes solid at 76 degrees farenheit, so it`s best to buy this oil in the winter when it`s unlikely to leak. It can be stored on the shelf for years because it is a stable oil and does not seem to go rancid or moldy. Recently, some people have raved about its use to support brain function in people who are cognitively challenged due to age or poor healthy style that causes brain fog. There is a case that can be found online about a medical doctor who discovered this use when her husband started to suffer from early-onset Alzheimer`s; since she was a medical doctor, had thoroughly researched both standard scientific research and other sources of information, and followed the course of her husband`s condition before and during the use of coconut oil alongside extensive medical testing, I`m inclined to believe her story. MCT is derived from coconut oil as is believed to be one of the active agents in coconut oil that helps with cognitive function. It doesn`t cure the condition; it just manages it. Of course, if this information is of interest to you, I recommend that you do due diligence and consult with your medical support team before trying this. It can`t hurt, and it might help.
