A punchy hibiscus blend with zesty, revitalizing ginger and succulent citrus.

Infusing ancient herbal traditions with epicurean creativity, our Herbal Teas express our mastery in sourcing exotic herbs, spices and fruits from all over the world. These natural ingredients are hand-blended in micro-batches to harmonize and develop a refined complexity.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale)

We taste dozens of gingers during the peak harvest seasons of Africa, Asia and Oceania to select only the most aromatic, citrusy and pungent varieties.

Blend Inspiration

Tangerine Ginger combines roots, fruits and herbs to create an uplifting, bold-flavored vitality tonic. Ginger and licorice invigorate, while rosehips and tangerine refresh with their bright succulence. Wild-harvested schizandra berry bestows an exotic layer of aromatic complexity. This rejuvenating, adaptogenic berry is harvested at its peak ripeness to lend tart cranberry and citrus accents to this vibrant juicy blend.

Suggested Use

  • 1 tbsp / 8 oz H2O
  • 212°F/100°C
  • Infuse 5 minutes

Other Ingredients

Organic ginger root, organic and fair trade certified hibiscus flowers, organic schizandra berries, organic licorice root, organic rosehips, organic orange peel, essential orange and tangerine oils.

Refreshing, a little spicy

This tea is very enjoyable. The tart tangerine and spicy ginger play off each other. Great aroma.

Thanks for your feedback!

Huge disappointment. Probably a matter of personal preference.

This was my first Rishi tea, and I had some high hopes for it before I purchased it. I imagined something like Bigelow's Spiced Orange, with more flavor but it was a completely different interpretation of "Spicy Citrus". I do believe they have used quality ingredients. However the taste just really rubbed me the wrong way and I found it really intolerable. It was kind of sour as I drank it, no it wasn't just the right amount of tang, but it was right off sour, and then it left a really weird aftertaste that made me wanna throw up. I think it was the ginger and licorice. Licorice and me not very good friends. I think I'll go back to Bigelow and stick with the Spiced Orange.

Posted by Jennie6092 on Feb 09, 2013 | Verified Purchase

Hi, my name is Jennie. I have Crohn's Disease and am Rx free thanks to many of the products offered on iHerb. I follow the SCD diet and one of the things I've really used a lot more is tea, not because it's required but because soft drinks aren't allowed and I don't like coffee so tea is a substitute when I want something besides water. Tangerine and ginger go together nicely. Just add a little honey and this is very good. I think it would also be good cold, but haven't tried that. I am writing reviews as part of iHerb's referral program and would appreciate it so much if you could just click the green oval YES button next to 'Was this review helpful?' If you found this informative at all, please let everyone know - even if you don't buy it. "The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket..." Maybe. But if you use my code you'll get $10 off and FREE shipping on orders over $40. ($5 off any order.) ICO011 All the best, Jennie.
