What is Chia Goodness?

Market under various names, the modest chia seed (salvia hispanica) is quite possibly the most nutritious seed ever. Lactose free, chia contains more than five times the calcium of milk. It is a excellent source of fiber, and contains no gluten. With more Omega 3 than flax or salmon, trace minerals and protein, it is an all-around superfood.

We've combined the goodness of chia with other wonderfully nutritious seeds: hemp and buckwheat, to help you power up in the morning, and keep you feeling great all day long.

Suggested Use

It's easy to make Chia Goodness:

  1. Measure 2 tablespoons of Chia Goodness into your bowl.
  2. Add 4 tablespoons (1/4 cup) hot or cold water or your choice of milk. Stir well.
  3. Wait 3-5 minutes, or until it thickens.

Time varies with temperature and type of liquid used.

Add fresh fruit if desired. No cooking required.

Boost the Goodness in your Breakfast:

Sprinkle Chia Goodness into your yogurt, oatmeal or granola. Stir and wait a few minutes before eating.

Its crunchy with a nutty taste unlike if you take chia seed alone.. i am not sure if its the buckwheat or hemp seeds that makes it so nicely nutty and crunchy but it works for the otherwise boring bland greens of my detox diet.. i even add this to my vegetable pasta just before serving and it makes all the difference. if it was a bigger amount and came in a glass bottle i would have give it 5 stars..

I've been looking for a cereal without sugar of any kind which is very hard to find first of all. I also wanted it to be gluten & lactose free while being a excellent source of fiber which this is. It's made up of chia seeds & also has hemp & buckwheat seeds in it. I've read that Chia seeds have five times more calcium than milk & more Omega 3 than flax or salmon. There's 6 grams of protein in just 2 tablespoons which is considered a serving size since when you add liquid, it bulks up and can be eaten cold or hot. I use almond milk and a little stevia in mine & it's quite filling. I probably sound like an advertisement but I've been so happy w/this product. Like I said, it's so difficult to find a cereal without sugar and other additives one doesn't want, that's great tasting, filling and really good for you. This is a very good price as I've checked around.
