Plastic bits floating

Posted by iHerb Customer on Jun 20, 2017 | Verified Purchase

The oil itself is really good, however, the cheap quality sealed for your protection foil dissolves into lots of tiny and a few big chunks of plastic floating in my oil. I could see the writing on some even before opening the bottle. Such a shame I will have to throw out a quality product, this is not safe!!

Cant do the fish taste!

Posted by iHerb Customer on Apr 29, 2017 | Verified Purchase

Well the oil is possibly good for me but I am finding it getting harder and harder to take as it has a lasting and disgusting taste,,,I want to keep it up but now I dry reach when I have it ...This is not saying the product does not do what it says ,but I am going to have to stop taking it I think!!!

Thanks for your feedback!

It feels healthier than the other fish oils I've tried

Fantastic product. I prefer getting vitamins through food, and this makes my vitamin D-tablets unnecessary. After using this 2-3 times a day for about two weeks I felt compelled to take a break, which may be my body telling me to slow down the vitamin A-intake? I found it to taste very light, just don't eat something sweet right before.

Love this Cod Liver Oil

Very well tolerated, not so fishy as some others.

Good product.

The health food store near me stopped selling TwinLab cod liver oil. They said their supplier couldn't get it anymore. I smell a fish there (pun intended). It was the only cod liver oil they had that was reasonably priced; all the others were outrageously expensive. So when I found Sonne's on your website I was pleasantly surprised. I do believe it truly is "old fashioned" cod liver oil, no processing except to remove heavy metals. And what's more, the taste is very mild, hardly fishy at all, even though I don't mind the fishy taste; after all, it IS fish oil!
