Expiration Date:Expiration Date
The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.
Perishable items (such as flax oils or certain probiotics) generally have shorter expiration dates. Although our warehouse is fully air-conditioned, these more fragile items are put in cold storage (freezer or refrigeration unit) for maximum freshness.
Our receiving department does its best to verify and then enter the correct expiration dates for all incoming products. However, discrepancies do occur from time to time. This being said, the exceptionally high turnover at iHerb ensures that our inventory is among the freshest in the industry.

Cortisol, a hormone produced by the adrenal glands in times of stress, is important in regulating blood sugar and maintaining healthy immune function, fertility, and overall physical and mental stamina. Usually the adrenal glands can cope with the demands of everyday life. However, in an environment of chronic stress the adrenal glands can become overworked, which can potentially lead to problems throughout the body.
Adrenal glandular tissue extracts play a valuable role in supporting healthy adrenal glands - which helps maintain immune function and a feeling of energy. Glandulars also help support healthy cortisol levels. Cortrex supplies a combination of adrenal glandulars and nutrients to support overall adrenal function and help maintain healthy cortisol levels. Whole adrenal tissue and adrenal cortex provide a component to Cortrex specific for tonifying the adrenals. Licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra) can have a modulating effect on cortisol activity. Ascorbic acid, thiamine (vitamin B1), riboflavin 5'-phosphate (the active form of vitamin B2), pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (the active form of vitamin B6), and zinc are included for their strengthening and supportive role in optimizing adrenal function.

I started taking this product when my compounding pharmacist recommeded it to me for reducing belly fat. I am on my third bottle and have lost at least two inches of belly fat. Product does not seem to have any negative side effects. I will reorder.

This products seems to help with my adrenals. They are fairly exhausted. This product gives me a bit more energy so I don’t crash too badly and has some supportive supplements too.. Would not recommend taking it later in the day as it has licorice which can keep you awake. I only take it before noon.
Great for short-term treatment of adrenal fatigue, but should not be used long-term IMO

My naturopath recommended this to help treat my adrenal issues, and it worked great. Cleared up my symptoms. I have been using it long term though, and started noticing development of Candida, of which one cause can be corticosteroid use. I did more research and learned that adrenal glandular should not be used long term because you can develop a dependency. In the long-term, you want you body to balance and be able to produce enough of its own adrenal hormones. I hope that Thorne Research comes out with a long-term adrenal supplement, with just the vitamins and minerals you need to support hormone production, such as vitamin C, pantothenic acid, magnesium, and vitamin E.

Again I'm yet to feel an improvement from taking it. Not to say it doesn't work for lots of others just not me at the moment.

I was taking the Thorne Adrenal Cortex but have changed over to this as it seems to have more of an effect....I don't know if it's the Zinc or B6 in it as well as the cortex that's making it more effective, but I'm happy with this product!
