Suggested Use

Easy and Energy-Saving Method:

Cook 1 to 2 minutes in boiling water and stir gently.

Switch off stove. Cover pot for 20 minutes. Ready to serve.

The good texture of Tinkyada can withstand quite a bit of over-cooking.


Put one package of pasta into 4.5 quarts (4.26 liters) of boiling water and add a tablespoon salt (if desired). Stir occasionally and cook medium high on range for 15-16 minutes* or until desired tenderness is reached. Rinse with cold water for superb texture. Drain well. Can be served hot or warm with any kind of pasta sauce or in your favorite pasta recipes, in hot soup, in salad, stir-fried, or as a casserole. Use it as you would with any regular pasta. The good texture of Tinkyada can withstand quite a bit of over-cooking.

I like this spaghetti, nice and gluten free. I like the faint spinach taste, it's very light and just gives it an extra deepness instead of really tasting like spinach. It's really impossible to overcook this spaghetti (trust me, I have forgotten it once too often). You can also cook it al dente, although I prefer it a bit more cooked.

Very good alternative to wheat pasta but...

Very hard to cook it al dente. It's either too firm, or if you add just a minute or few seconds, it becomes soggy right away. I've bought this around 10 times and still couldn't find that sweet spot. I always end up with sticky, soggy pasta that easily gets mashed up. It tastes good though, and I just always think of the health benefits.
