Naturally Decaffeinated Green Tea with Ginseng

Now you can enjoy the benefits of green tea, ginseng and Chinese herbs without the caffeine! Our green tea is naturally decaffeinated using a carbon dioxide process that maintains green tea's beneficial antioxidants. The traditional herbs in this formula have a long history of use by Chinese herbalists. Modern research confirms both American and Asian ginsengs contain ginsenosides. Eleuthero (commonly called "Siberian ginseng") contains eleutherosides, and jiaogulan (called "Southern ginseng") contains gypenosides, both similar in properties to ginsenosides. They were considered as healthy herbs to lift the spirits (chi) by Chinese herbalists. Astragalus, chrysanthemum, dandelion, mulberry, Chinese mint and licorice were used to support the effects of the other herbs in this formula. Experts recommend drinking three or more cups of green tea a day. Drink this delicious tea anytime of day, hot or iced, as is, or try adding lemon and your favorite sweetener.

Triple Leaf Tea's Ancient Chinese Herbs & Teas

Traditional Chinese medicine began in approximately 2500 B.C. Recently, here in the West, People have discovered the value of this ancient system. Tea drinkers are able to enjoy a wider variety of Chinese herbs and teas that rarely were used in the West until now. The Chinese system of herbology has been recorded in ancient texts, which are studied and employed even today. This time tested knowledge has been passed on from generation to generation over the centuries.

Triple Leaf Tea comes from such a tradition. It is made in the U.S.A. by a Chinese American family-owned business. The company owner can remember stories of his own grandfather selling herbs and teas in his village in China. Today, these traditional Chinese herbs and teas are available to you. We wish you harmony and health.

Detoxifies the Body Inside and Outside

Posted by iHerb Customer on Jul 23, 2017 | Verified Purchase

For skin and scalp acne or inflammation, steep six tea-bags in 8 oz. of distilled water over night. Store in refrigerator. Use two oz. spray bottle for application. After using, my July heat rash hasn't returned. Mildly astringent, so it's great for using on scalp acne prior to a shampoo or even afterwards. Virtually odorless so it can be used all over (maybe even as an antiperspirant?). Best of health to everyone, Ernest

Ginseng

Posted by iHerb Customer on Dec 16, 2016 | Verified Purchase

I was not sure what Ginseng tasted like and the price was right to find out so I tried this. Its a pretty mellow taste and a decaf so its good for later in the evening on a cold winters night. I am glad I tried it.
