yes, it can be taken by a 5 yr old child. just take 1/2 tsp for the 1st week – after meal – morning will be better. afterwards, take 1 tsp onwards – after meal – morning too.

Yes, it must be refrigerated. Before using it warm the bottle with you hands. That will free the lignan particulates to mix in with the oil. Then shake the bottle well. The oil should look dark, not clear. If it's fresh it will have a rich nutty flavor. After serving, put back into refrigerator immediately.
