Is it suitable for someone who has bad cholesterol and fats? Is there mercury in its composition?
RuxiFuchsi
July 7 2021
Best Answer
Don't worry! Omega-3 from fish fat has an improvement in high-density lipoprotein (HDL, or "good") cholesterol. It also lowers the blood pressure, reduces the triglycerides and can slow plaque buildup inside the blood vessels. One pill has only 10 calories and represents only 1% of the daily value of the total fat which our body needs. Regarding the mercury, the manufacturer has a statement directly on the label “The natural fish oil concentrate is manufactured under strict quality control standards. It is tested to be free of potentially harmful levels of contaminants such as PCBs, dioxins, mercury and other heavy metals.” Additionally, the producer Now Foods has a GMP Quality certification and is member of and certified by GOED. Hope that helps. Cheers!

How about this brand?
YFH6344
June 20 2021
Best Answer
This is the best omega-3 I've ever taken. It won't give fishy aftertaste, means you won't burp out disgusting fishy smell. Furthermore, it is of the highest dose of EPA/DHA compares to other brands. You need to take only ONE per day and you'll get enough of this fatty acids. This also means you will take in less gelatin into your digesting system.

That is why it could be sold at this low price, otherwise we cannot afford it.

I never get any rancid fish oil before. This Now Ultra Omega-3 is a good product. The enteric coating never make you burp out any unpleasant fishy smell like other brands did.
