My friend had multiple heart attacks, doctors were preparing for bypass, but I gave my friend curcumin for thirty days and when they pre oped they told my friend "your heart is healing so we are going to wait another 90 days and see, maybe we will just do stents" and that is the pending status. I think this says a lot about the anti inflammatory properties of curcumin.

I switched to Best Curcumin with bioperine from plain curcumin because the plain curcumin was not being absorbed very well (I have an ileostomy and could easily observe the yellow clumps passing through). With the addition of bioperine, it appears that it is well absorbed.

The product was purchased not only as a powerful antioxidant but as one of the front-line defence mechanisms against cytokine storm in the event of the H1N1 virus. When combined with D3, magnesium and Iodine, the product offers alternative to vaccine ! Doctor's Best with Bioperine seems to be as acceptable as any other Curcumin.

II have noticed taking this along with other Immune support herbs, that I was able to stop taking Glycemic factors all together, which was causing a lot of bathroom milage. I also noticed my glucose levels stabilized at a beter range as long as I ate a little less and more often. Exercise was still mandatory as well as other herbs and insulin for type 1 diabetes for now.

I usually go for Doctor's Best where they are avialable when looking for supplements. Only occasionally do they not have the best price per gm or the exact ingredients I require. I research my suppliements before buying accross the net and if you look at the ingredients and additives they use, they often have it just right. 4 Stars because of the Gelatine capsule. I am 99.99% vegatarian, but I wont sacfrice a good vitamin because of gelatin, however DB could do better here.

My large-breed senior dog has spondylosis in her lower spine, which causes inflammation and severe pain at times. For months we struggled with giving her powerful Rx drugs to relieve it (I hate using those, but when she was in so much pain she could barely walk, I would break down and give her Rimadyl and Tramadol; it took both to make her comfortable). Learned about curcumin a few weeks after I'd injured my knee; I began taking it and giving it to her, too. The inflammation in my knee improved quickly, but more importantly, my girl is mostly pain free now. She gets 2 capsules a day, and is in less pain than she's been in for years. No side effects, and even when she plays too hard with other dogs, I just give her an extra capsule, and she exhibits no more than a little stiffness the following day.

Using for arthritis in a joint in my index finger that recently developed. Also using apple cider vinegar, but believe this product played a major role in the improvement I've seen.

and it is very effective. I can take less of this than curcumin without the bioperine. I have RA and this has made a difference in my C Reactive Protein along with Fish oil.

We have already tried it for the last 2 weeks and haven't seen any difference just yet.

Not too bad on the stomach, and it kind of tastes a bit funny.
