I LOVE this sunscreen, it’s moisturising for my dry skin, doesn’t break me out and doesn’t burn my sensitive eyes like other sunscreens.
In the photo the top half of my hand is unblended (to show thickness of the cream), the bottom half is blended in.
This sunscreen contains both mineral and chemical filters so it does have a very minor white cast on my fair skin. Much more wearable and cosmetically elegant compared to all other mineral sunscreens I’ve tried tried. After it has absorbed in, it doesn’t leave an unflattering oily film and actually works great as a hydrating makeup primer.
It has a mild pleasant sunscreen scent and it’s very moisturising. I can actually wear it on its own without needing to wear another face cream under it so it makes my morning routine faster, easier and more minimalistic. It’s moisturising enough for the cold and brutal -40C Canadian winters (sadly UV rays aren’t afraid of the cold and still present during winter time).
For the past year I have been using Japanese and Korean sunscreens as I had been disappointed in all western sunscreens but this has pleasantly surprised me.
I also LOVE the packaging. Eucerin really got this right, the pump is perfection, it’s high quality and dispenses the perfect amount of sunscreen, I usually use 4-5 pumps for my face, neck and ears.
At night I remove it using a double cleanse, first with an oil cleansing balm followed by benzoyl peroxide wash and it comes off without any issues.
I can see myself using this sunscreen for a very long time. It feels luxurious and great on my skin. Dr dray always recommends the best products.
