I actually ended up steeping this tea for around 8 minutes because I'd left it and forgotten about it, then came back to it and promptly removed the teabag. I figured it would be very bitter at this point, and it wasn't, fortunately. However, it very disappointingly had very little flavour at all. I was hoping for the satisfying sourness you get from some other teas containing rosehip, hibiscus and raspberry extract, but it was too weak for my liking. The tea itself is *okay*, but that's it, really. I think old people who don't like sour notes in food and drinks would like this…

When I lived in Russia, my host school would serve rosehip and hibiscus tea for breakfast everyday, and it was AMAZING. Since returning to the US, I have searched for a brand as good as what I had there. Over and over again I am disappointed. This tea seriously tastes like dirt. I even added a TON of sugar to drown out the taste- with no success. It was slightly better with lemon EO. Still. I'd recommend that you pass this tea by.
