I use the third month, acts as it should be retinol, tightens, smoothes, softens. However, at first, it dried the skin heavily when used once every 2-3 days, and with less frequent it also dried it. Honestly, the view became worse than it was, but the problem was suddenly solved with the alternation of this oil with 5% glycolic cream from Jeffrey James (day retinol, two days glycolic acid). In tandem, the effect was really good, and did not have to give up this oil. Probably a small percentage of glycolic acid contributed to the speedy renewal, which did not occur so quickly with the use of retinol alone. It should also be noted that at least some result will not appear soon, by the third month, and someone may even later, retinol does not act quickly. The product is quite pleasant, the consumption is minimal (almost a full vial by 3 months of use). It is worth noting that if you stop using and during the summer break, the effect will quickly disappear. Contrary to popular belief about the need to use retinol only in autumn and winter, studies show the achievement of the maximum effect in the second year of continuous use. In connection with the acceleration of the renewal process, the skin becomes more susceptible to the sun, the surface layer of dead cells normally performs the sun protection function, but left without it, the skin is more at risk of negative influences from the outside, including ultraviolet. However, when using sunscreens that combine physical and chemical filters, the risk is almost completely leveled. Probably it is not worthwhile to specially go to the beach after using some time for retinol, but in the conditions of the city it can be used all-seasonally for the night.
