I use this henna to color my greys. It doesn't make my regular brown red. I like that this is packaged in a box that can be easily recycled. I follow the directions from YouTube and leave this on for an hour. I don't mix it with anything besides hot water. The powder mixes up and I apply it to freshly washed and damp hair. I always apply to slightly wet hair because it makes it easier to spread the mixture and cover your hair. I live it on for an hour and then rinse. Henna is hard to get out and I don't like the smell, but this is how all henna is. I usually can go 3 months or so in between colorings.

My hair is very dark brown, but has some grey hair. I used “Red” Light Mountain and the result is quite stanning. The grey hair turned orangy red and it creates very interesting highlights. The orange-ness settled down in a couple of days and mix well with my dark brown hair. The typical of Henna scent is something I love because I feel that I am doing something good for my hair. It gives the natural treatment to hair and my hair is very silky now.

It’s really good product, it did gave me a nice red colour for my hair, natural tone of red. Although my hair felt a bit dry but that’s the effect of henna and it’s ok I’ve used some oils. But as any one has any sensitive scalp or has scars ;I wouldn’t recommend it, go for natural henna without any colour.

I am very happy with the color! I wanted an autumn bright red, without redness and not to be a carrot) the hair below the shoulder blades is long, porous, curly. consumption: 6 tablespoons of henna plus 1 tablespoon of turmeric, 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, a spoonful of lemon juice. steaming the mixture as usual, to the consistency of liquid sour cream and apply henna for 2-2.5 hours, periodically warming up with a hairdryer (2-3 times all the time). the color turned out the way I wanted to see it! yes, of course, it's a long time, but the result is worth it! I will definitely order more than one package now. I recommend to buy!

When I first colored my medium dark hair the result was pretty fox red, but after many times it went more darker red as in the picture. I mixed it with lemon juice or chamomilla tea. I like the scent and it is easy to use. It mixes well and hair feel moisturized afterward. I did miss my volume after the first few washes.

I have been using henna to dye my hair for over 15 years and this is the best henna I have used yet. I used Lush for many years but looked for a new product when they changed their formula a few years ago. Light Mountain is much better than Lush - even before they messed around with their formula. It is easy to mix as it comes already in a fine powder. Plastic cap and gloves are included in the box. It goes on really easily and does not drip or break off in bits as the Lush henna does. It stains the hair incredibly well and gives a vibrant colour finish - it also covers grey and white hair brilliantly (which the Lush henna doesn't do). It does dry quite hard around the edges so you need to take time to wash it out. I recommend using conditioner to help wash it out. It is best to wash your hair and then put on the henna while the hair is still wet/damp, then cover the hair with a towel to keep it warm if you want the colour to be more reddish. I then just wash out with water and conditioner (you don't need to use shampoo again. It usually stains my scalp a little after I first wash it out, but that all goes on the second wash. I try to leave it a good few days before I wash it a second time, so that the colour can set better. I have sensitive skin and have never had a reaction to this henna. It can also be frozen and then used as soon as you defrost it. I mix up the entire bag and it makes 4 applications - I put 3 in the freezer and just take them out the night before I want to use them. It doesn't have a strong smell and I like the smell it does have. It always leaves my hair soft and shiny and I love the colour - it's more red and less orange compared to the Lush rouge henna. It says leave it for 4 hours and I usually try to do this but I have found that it still does a fantastic job after 2-3 hours. I wouldn't use anything else now to dye my hair! I love it!
