I am chemically sensitive so it is nothing short of a miracle to find a product which does not have a perfumed scent nor anything I'm allergic to in it! I first learned of Rainbow Reasearch back in the late 1990's when I used to use their Kid's Hair Detangler. It was a 'clean' product and I loved that. Back then, scents didn't bother me -- or so I thought. I always head headaches back then. I just thought I 'inherited' them, I guess? Fast forward to 2015 when I began eliminating perfumes and scents from my life. My headaches disappeared completely -- I would only get a headache when exposed to fragrances! This started a long journey of trying to find products that didn't make me sneeze, cough, wheeze, or get a headache. Just about everything on the market has a fragrance even when they say fragrance-free! :( But then I remembered Rainbow Research! I could still remember the smell of the detangler and how there were no fragrances added. So I said a prayer and bought a bottle of lotion. And once again, Rainbow Research came through for me!! :) This lotion is the ONLY one I will use. I hope and pray that they NEVER stop making it!! It is very gentle and soft and not greasy at all. The ingredients list is very minimal, which I love! I use this in all seasons, even in the dry cold winter, and it's enough for my skin. It's great for any age! I even use it on my face and it doesn't cause any acne. There is a slight scent to it, but it is from the herbal ingredients. There are *no* added perfumes/fragrances. All in all, very natural and unoffensive for someone with chemical sensitivities. I consider this a high quality product because of these reasons and because of the history of the company. It is also a nice size bottle even though it may look small -- you really do get 16 fl. oz. Many 'unscented' products are a lot more expensive for half the size.
