True, it is not what is called true cinnamon--but it is the Cinnamon that is used in studies about its efficiency for blood sugar control and lowering cholesterol etc. If you choose to use it for health issues, not just for flavor--this is the one to go for! SME California

I bought this because a Dr. Oz show recommended a teaspoon of cinnamon everyday for its antioxidant properties. Had to be a specific kind of cinnamon. This is the stuff. It smells better than any cinnamon I have ever smelled. My husband and I have had fun figuring out ways to get the cinnamon into us without too much pain. Our favorite so far is sprinkled on cereal with sprinkled on a bagel covered with Nutella as a very close second. Try this! Too soon to tell if the medicinal properties work.

This tastes good but it's not true cinnamon. Ceylon or cinnamomum verum is healthier, although more expensive.

Cinnamon powder I used to use smelled and tasted much stronger than this.

The smell is ok but when mix with water, it becomes this gooey mixture and it's really disgusting to swallow. Highly NOT recommended.
