Firstly, let me say I expected this item to be "ground" as in ground almonds, which it is not - It is in "seed" format. When I ate this for the first time(after adding it to yoghurt) I experienced some kind of pains in my tummy, so I thought this might have been a laxative effect, or maybe the fact that the seeds have quite sharp edges. However, the next evening, wondering what the product would taste like on its own, I put two tablespoons in a bowl without any product, and starting chewing on it. Towards the end there was an intense burning sensation in my mouth, and I have to throw the rest of the bowl in the bin. The seed is too strong for me personally. won't be repurchasing this item again,

This is a great healthy addition to breakfast cereal and a large quantity which makes it very economical. I keep it in the fridge for extra freshness.

i like this better than regular ground flax. great for high lignan content and healthy fat. mixes well in food.
