Organic Tomatoes in BPA-Free Cans

Posted by Reviewer2908502 on Apr 13, 2013 | Verified Purchase

Great Tasting Organic Tomatoes in BPA-Free Cans, better than what anyone else can offer! Sad thing is that all of the canned goods industry, knows that BPA is bad for our bodies, but it is more expensive to use BPA free cans and thus they do not wish to change the packaging. BPA's have been found to be harmful and cumulative in our bodies. You are what you eat...Thank you to Bionature for carrying enough to change whatever the cost and Thank you iHerb for offering these for sale. It is a win-win deal.

BPA free tomato can!

Posted by rosanjin on Jul 22, 2016 | Verified Purchase

The only reason I bought this was because they said their cans are BPA free. This is hard to achieve with tomato cans because of the tomato's acidity. Not sure how they managed, but the can came fine and the tomatoes great. Organic to boot. Absolutely no complaints. Will buy over and over again.

Wished they took more care with the packing. All three cans I ordered came dented!

Bionaturae uses polyester coating inside, bad too

The taste is not bad, BPA-free is good, but polyester lining... "Cans were extracted for 24 hours with acetonitrile at 40°C or with ethyl acetate at 20°C", search acetonitrile and ethyl acetate for detail about the health problem
