Erythritol is the best replacement for sugar in my opinion. Just use a bit more than you would with normal sugar, and you won't taste the difference.

I have nothing but compliments on all baked goods made with this Erythritol. It measures exactly as sugar does and tastes wonderful with no stomach upset or fear of my dogs ingesting it with horrific health consequences. I love it.
