The titaniaum and zinc oxides do leave a very temporary white ghostiness, but the skin friendly ingredients and the absence of baddies makes it so worth it. They also probably block better. I am very fair and spend time at the beach; the performance is similar to drug store 20+ spf. I have rosacea too, and it helps that too. I can use it on my face under mineral makeup with no problem. Some sunscreens have caused irritation and itching. Thanks

And non-shiny as well. Doesn't appear whitish or chalky on the skin. Very hard to find non-greasy sunscreens without chemical filters. This one's a keeper!

it contains zinc oxide and titanum oxide only. this sunscreen is really gentle to my skin. but it's little bit dry and peels off when I apply my foundation. still it works good in summer. ++
