the recipe is on the back and it is great. We like to mix barley and oats for a breakfast treat.

Good to add to other dry foods.

I bought this to add to 13 bean mix, or anasazi dry beans. {1/2 cup barley to 3 cups of 13 bean mix, or 4 cups of anasazi dry beans]. The hull-less barley has a soft but crunchy texture and the resulting mix is flavorful. (Soak the hull-less barley and 13 bean mix in filtered water, salt, coconut oil, fresh garlic, spices, tomato powder, beet powder, etc., and cook in an electric pressure cooker.)

Delicious

Has a sort of hickory nut flavor and slightly firm texture similar to steamed wheat berries. I simmered it for an hour in half water and half broth.
