I am only giving 3 stars because I wasn't happy with some of the ingredients.

cleans well

I have fine dry curly hair. This shampoo cleans well but seems too harsh for my hair type.

Not sulfate free. Somewhat drying.

I think this is a nice product, but it uses sodium coco-sulfate, basically a unrefined version of SLS. I think this is the main ingredient people are using natural products are trying to avoid, so I find it a tad misleading that it is included. It still has a lot better ingredients than regular shampoos, but it's not something I would purchase again. It does create a really nice lather (because it has sulfates) and has a nice scent that isn't too overpowering.

Cloying smell

Posted by Reviewer3105820 on Jun 14, 2013

I love that a little goes a long way with both the shampoo and conditioner, my hair feels soft, though dry and my scalp feels great! However the smell of this nearly gave me an asthma attack. I expected a coconut smell; but this reminds me of days by the pool using the Pina Colada suntan lotions of the 70's. I have only used it once, I do not think I can use it twice, I am sorely disappointed.
