Even though this children's toothpaste is free of sulfates, parabens, fluoride, saccharin, artificial or synthetic preservatives, flavors, colorants, or harsh abrasives, and contains some safe ingredients, such as xylitol, cellulose gum, panthenol, oat bran, and beta-glucan, it contains calcium lactate and glycerin, as well. Glycerin is a relatively safe ingredient, but may leave a thin coat on the teeth and prevent remineralization of tooth enamel. Calcium lactate, which is a buffering agent, is much more dangerous. It's a human allergen and irritant known for causing nausea, vomiting, dizziness, stomach upset and cramps, and it's definitely not safe if swallowed by kids. Not something you would expect from a children's toothpaste. And the "natural" origin of its strawberry and banana flavor is questionable. You can find much better and safer children's toothpastes out there.

our baby loves this. i like that it is all natural too. the gum brush is a little small, won't fit my husband's finger.

finger brush did not fit my finger very well and is hard to get off, i have fairly small hands so it definitely will not work for my hubby. and the cap on the toothpaste broke on the second use, the toothpaste itself was fine.
