Good for Thyroid

My anti-aging doctor recommended a reacted form of selenium to
help my thryroid. Apparently the absorbtion is better. However, do not take more than one capsule, because selenium can be toxic in higher doses. Works best along with Vitamin E to neutralize free radicals.

I get this for my husband. His acupuncturist recommended it to help with his neuropathy. Very small gelcap.

This selenium supplement being chelated increases absorption but according to some nutritionists selenium uses copper. Without taking copper or including copper with this selenium supplement copper in the body will be depleted. Dr Gerhard Shrauzer a selenium researcher stated the following on levels to take:
"An extra 100–200 mcg of selenium per day in supplement form is perfectly safe. In fact, selenium intakes of 400 mcg/day were determined to be the maximal safe intake, and intakes of 750–800 mcg/day were proposed as the “upper limit of the safe dietary selenium intake.” At this point, it also must be mentioned that even higher selenium intakes may be well tolerated for extended periods by Americans, as long as their diets provide enough protein." so we must use it. My whole family is using it and it is really helpful. It helps to skin, muscles, concentration, even brighter, clearier mind and thoughts. It stops expansion of tumors. Because it is difficult to get it all from the clean and healthy diet nowadays, we must supplement our health with it.
