Good to have

It is very assuring to have this form of Vitamin C. I take 1 sachet daily just to make sure. As it does not dissolve in any liquid, I just squeeze it on a tblspoon and drink it down with water.

Pity about the soy lecithin?

This product is a lot more effective than other forms of Vitamin C: You can increase absorption of plain ascorbic acid to ~70% by reacting it with bicarb and drinking it in solution. The LiveOn version has a much higher absorption (~99 %) than other lipospheric formulations which often have quite low absorption (~40 %?). This VitC formulation has has a gentle effect and a very good bowel tolerance. This lypospheric VitC formulation currently holds the record for generating the highest VitC concentrations in the blood (~double) using an oral method. Given that it is 8-16x better absorbed than most oral forms it is like taking 8-16x more VitC. Yes the price is higher... but you can take less. It is worth paying more for the greater efficiency. The phospholipids also come up as highly desirable. This product strengthens nails and hair... due to the phospholipids? That's a welcome and unexpected side effect. The only thing of concern is the lecithin which is of soy origin (worried about estrogenic effects):. Egg lecithin would have been nice? Egg lecithin is much healthier than soy lecithin. Alternatively milk lecithin or even sunflower lecithin might be reasonable alternatives? LiveOn say that they couldn't achieve the same results with Sunflower lecithin. The final effect is a product that does not taste natural. Hopefully someone will create an even better lipospheric product some time in the future? :-)
