Now Foods, Quinoa, Certified Organic, 16 oz

The Quinoa was very good. There was no cooking instructions on the bag, so I had to do a little researching on the internet.

I had the same experience exactly as Reviewer 1814513. There were miniscule bits of something, like pebbles but too small to see, in almost every bite. Hope they can correct this as, with all the other great reviews, these two shipments must have been anomalies. Also ordered the Alter Ego Pearl Quinoa which was marvelous - shall order more.

Nice taste - no stones or need to sort

Very clean! No need to pick out stones. I like the slightly nutty taste.

My guests love it but I don't fancy quinoa as much.

    Posted by Reviewer2295193 on Sep 20, 2012

They have an earthy grassy smell and taste which I don't really fancy. It is highly recommended that you rinse them several times thoroughly. I cook them just like I would rice via the absorption method. My guests like this. I cook them like rice and fry them with some ghee, peas, and leftover meats, ham and eggs. It's a hit with a Chinese twist.
