Nutmeg oil is known to ease pain, including menstrual cramping, is used in treating asthma, it stimulates the brain and cardiovascular system, and it helps in treating kidney infections and diseases. Not to mention it's great in drinks, soaps, cosmetics, etc.

Great for the holidays

I clean houses and mix the nutmeg or clove oil with orange in vinegar/water mix for cleaning hard surfaces without allergic reactions and a long lasting fragrance for the holidays. People love it and it seems to get them in the mood for baking!

Antidote for caffeine

4 peope found the following review helpful

Nutmeg and Cardamon together are the antidote for caffeine according to ayurveda literature. Nutmeg is a sedative. Most authors do not recommend taking essential oils internally however I take them diluted with an ounce of cooking oil to prevent stomach irritation. Artificial oils should never be taken internally as they are toxic.
