I have food allergies and this product is very good for me. But be careful not to purchase a sound-a-like brand that I was unfortunate to buy by accident. My mood went way down and I was told that 5-HTP products are NOT all the same. This one is a good one.

This is a form of 5-HTP which is vegan (no gelatin caps) and comes at the reasonable dose of 50mg which most people tolerate better than 100mg.
