I am taking this as preventative with the sublingual form of B12 Methylcobalim for age related memory decline. Also B6 P5P form... All 3 are easier assimilated form. Also for homocystein levels.

Some people seem to need this form of folate, but for me they seem to cause problems after a week to ten days of taking them. Basically I just get a toxic flu like feeling. Too many methyl donor's seem problematic for some of us. If you need this form, they are very good, but if you don't have the mthfr polymorphism (can't convert folic acid), then these just provide too much methyl.

I have great confidence in this folate product manufactured by Solgar using a Metafolin formula developed by Merck & Co. in Germany. This product is not yet available in the local market, so I am very pleased to be able to purchase it through IHerb.

This is an excellent product. Folic acid is utilized by so many part of the body and is important for good health.

Nice to see this product is once again available over the counter. I only gave 3 stars because the dose is much lower than the prescription forms.
