More like a peppermint. I think a peppermint would do the same thing for me. But every one is different.

these tablets are way too large to fit under your tounge! they did calm me down a bit but there was soon a tolerance built to them

The taste was pleasant but noticed no calming effects whatsoever. I also didn't notice until the bottle was almost gone that this contains Sorbitol(something I try to avoid). Would not buy again.
