Good value, handy

This is a simple, reliable food scale. Capacity is up to one pound (marked in half-ounce increments) or 500 grams (marked in 10-gram increments). Pretty standard arrangement: has a dial you can manually reset to zero in case you want to measure your food in something other than the included food tray, and the dial needle is protected by the clear plastic dial face, so it won't get knocked around. The scale fits into the tray for easy storage. Works well, good price, saves space.

Tray smaller than I expected

I bought this for the intention of weighing small animals, since small animal scales cost over $200 and I needed an alternate. This probably works really good on food. It worked wonderfully for weighing my pet rats (I super glued the tray so it wouldn't fall off the scale). Great for the price!
