Excellent substitute for wheat flour in baking, it gives a richer taste. It contains the skin of the almonds too, which adds up to the fibre intake. Use the coupon code in my user name at checkout to save you up to $10.00 off your first order! Yes, it is not as pretty as blanched, but I can't tell that it makes much of a difference in baked goods, and it's half the price per ounce! Sometimes if I'm concerned about the texture/prettiness factor, I'll mix it in with some of the blanched to stretch it. The fact that it's all natural is awesome, too. I stock up on 4 when I buy my NuNaturals stevia for the discount. Oh, for any low-carbers looking for some great recipes, try healthyindulgences.blogspot.com

Thought it would be blanched, not with the skins.

I thought this would be a blanched product, like other almond flours on the market. But it still contains the skins.

Works great in all my low carb recipes where almond flour is needed. Great for making pancakes and muffins. Also very easy to order from iherb. Will order again as needed
