The glass jar contains within it a greyish brown cream that is thick in consistency but smells pleasant. My initial concern over the product and any new product that I try really is if it will cause me to break out. I have adult acne prone skin that has reacted badly to other 'natural' bee products I have tried and delving into a bee venom cream seemed almost like skin suicide to me. But the special came on and it seemed like so many people were having such great results - I decided to give it a shot. I purchased two bottles, one for myself and the other for my mother who is always on the lookout for solutions to reduce the lines, wrinkles and hollows in her skin. I find that the cream does not break me out, possibly because of the UMF grade 16 manuka honey which is highly antibactirial and is medicine grade. I had researched into bedsores before and learned that manuka money at umf grades 10 to 15 were used to kill in the sores to prevent further infection, and is considered a medicine. UMF 16 is one grade higher than the usual medicine grade but just means it is better at microbial and antibacterial activity. Other than acne-prone, I have very oily skin that is dry. It's like my skin over produces oil to try to counter the dryness but it isn't helping because my skin isn't absorbing its own oil. This cream seems to help with the dryness, and I wake to smooth, even toned skin. I personally have not felt any tingling upon application and I've gone through half the jar. For my mom, the lines on her face have filled out a little, but the biggest improvement will have to be in the size of her pores. They do seem smaller and results in a smoother look that takes a few years off her face.
