So..... There is a lot I have to say about this product haha. First off, the gel is relatively fragrance free so I will give it that. It is a nice texture, not too thick but not runny. The product would be easier to use in a tub with a twist off lid or even a pump rather than a squeeze tube. The ingredients are great and I can't really complain about it for what it is. It was putting the product on my hair that changed everything. This gel made my hair so dry, tangley, and sticky that I couldn't touch my hair without my hands becoming sticky and me feeling like I was breaking my hair. I don't know if I used it wrong or if the formula just doesn't work but I did not like it at all. I was trying to find a natural replacement for the eco krystal gel I normally use but I guess this gel isn't it. The way I use my krystal gel is I take a glob and smooth into a section then I rake it to clump my curls. This product would work great and after like a minute, I would lose definition towards the roots and puff up. So I tried applying more and more and accidentally used the entire tube in one sitting and ended up with hair that looked relatively wearable but felt like plastic. And the longer it was in my hair, the harder and dryer my hair felt. So I ended up putting it in two buns a.k.a. space buns for two days then cowashed and twisted my hair last night. I don't know if it just didn't work with the conditioner that was in my hair or if using the whole tube was a bad move but I don't know if I will try it again. I may in the future but for now, it's on to the next gel!
