It is great for textured hair. I have been using it to detangle and it has great slip. It helped define my natural curl pattern. The scent is very pleasant and not too strong. I don’t use it every time I wash my hair though as I consider it a protein treatment. I haven’t noticed my hair thickening yet but perhaps as time goes on. I use this conditioner in combination with another one. I apply this one on top of the other one, as this is the thicker one. It makes a huge difference on my fine hair. People think I have much thicker hair than I really do. This is one product I cannot be with. I have been stocking extra just in case someday it is not available anymore. I don't think it has made my hair grow but it does look & feel fuller--softer, too. It also isn't falling out as much. A real comfort when you are worried about losing your hair. Bald guys can be cute--most bald women aren't I had tried Jason's Thin to Thick shampoo & conditioner but like the Mill Creek products better. They don't make my scalp itch--something a lot of shampoos/conditioners do.
