There’s a silicon insert inside the plastic outer cup. I like it because it’s bigger than other straw cups & good for travel / days out. Doesn’t leak as far as I can tell, which was my biggest concern in trying this out. The straw gets stuck a lot when opening / closing so might wear out more quickly. Unsure of where to buy just the straw replacement as it’s not available on iherb.
