It does the job! Just make sure to push the cuticles first before trimming them. Otherwise they hurt and it feels like cutting through your skin. To make it easier to push down the cuticles make sure that you soak your fingers in warm water for a bit or do it right after taking a shower.

Doesn't trim very well. The angle of the bend is too shallow that it doesn't catch my cuticles. It still manages to cut my cuticles but it's less effective and precise, and doesn't do the cleanest job.
