It wasn't obvious from the iHerb listing that this chutney is pretty spicy hot. I like the taste all right, but I really wanted a version quite a bit less hot. This is supposed to be one of the condiments (like yogurt) that more typically offsets the hotness.

I absolutely love this mango chutney. It's a must for any Indian dishes. I serve it with curries. It just adds that extra something special to a dish. You only need a teaspoon or so per serving so it lasts and there are shredded pieces of mango that add a nice texture. The blend of spices is great. Even just on a sandwich with a sharp cheese, it's very tasty. I like that it's packaged in a glass jar that I can reuse too.
