I used to do some early-release testing of pura d'or products, and im really glad to see them more widely available, since I am a repeat buyer of the argan oil-- but now there have been a lot of counterfeit products on Amazon. The last time i bought a bottle of the argan oil it showed up clearly being a mix of olive oil and peppermint(!) So now i exclusively buy them here, since ive never had a problem with the Pura D'or argan oil i buy here. I put argan oil in my wet hair after the shower, and put it up in a bun most days. It makes it shiny, gives it some good weight (my hair is too fluffy otherwise), and makes it soft.
I love this Argan oil. It blends smoothly into my skin without leaving an oily residue. It’s the best oil for moisturizing dry skin, and also tames fly away hair when I apply a little after washing my hair. The smell is interesting…subtle, then it disappears. The price seems reasonable for 4 oz. The spritz top makes it easier to apply than using the typical stopper bottle.
This oils is so efficient and works so well. I use it to deal with a bunch of issues: dry skin, split ends, hair that only seems to want to frizz etc. In combination with a carrier oil such as almond or jojoba or coconut, mixed with Shea butter and an essential oil (maybe some lavender and a drop of tea tree) this makes a fabulous hair mask and conditioner. Or I massage it into my skin after a shower. Very luxurious and I like that the quality standards for this product are high.
Absorbs very quickly. The only strange thing, which I never noticed on my face, only when unscrewing the cap and smelling the oil in the bottle, is a slight coca-cola smell to the oil. I'm not sure how normal this is or not for this particular oil. It is basically a clear oil with no scent once on the skin, which absorbs very well and is not greasy on my skin.
